Buffalo Girls Fastpitch Association

The goal of our travel program is to allow girls ages 9-18 to experience competitive softball while still learning fundamental skills, good sportsmanship, and lifelong lessons.   We expect all travels players to try to make their team a priority for the summer scheduled events.  We try to maintain equal as possible playing time for ages 10U and 12U and maintaining fair but not necessarily equal playing times at the 14U, 16U, and 18U levels.  In the younger ages, players will play numerous positions to gain confidence throughout the season in all positions.

The season goes from the beginning of May to the middle of July for the 10U and 12U and goes from the end of May to the end of July for the the 14U. 16U, and 18U levels

There are usually 2 practices a week either at the High School or at Bentfield Mills Park

For the 10U and 12U in May there are typcally 1 double header league game night each week, once June hits, there are typically 2 double header league game nights.

14U, 16U, and 18U there are 2 double header league nights starting at the end of May.

There are a  minimum of 2 weekend tournaments out of town throughout the season and 1 tournament in Buffalo that we host.  There is also a State Qualifier and for those that qualify a State Tournament at the end of the season.
